Seuls les tuyaux à paroi simple d’une couche devraient être utilisés pour le préchauffage du carburateur. Les tuyaux à double paroi présentent le risque que la paroi intérieure se décolle et qu’elle aille dans le carburateur, ce qui peut entraîner l’arrêt du moteur.
