Type 1 fluids are specially formulated for safe use with oxygen but are equally effective with hydrogen, nitrogen, helium, air, and other gases. They contain no oils, greases, ammonia, or any other substances that could ignite upon contact with pure oxygen.

Type 1 – For use within a temperature range of +35°F to +160°F.

Type 1 is a neutral solution formulated to detect leaks in lines, cylinders, and tanks containing pure oxygen; it is also widely used to test fuel tanks and pneumatic systems—essentially any product or system subject to air or gas pressure leak testing.

Type 1 contains no oil, grease, or other ingredients that could react with pure oxygen to form a flammable or explosive mixture. It has been rigorously tested and approved by government and commercial laboratories. Apply the product to the fitting or surface suspected of leaking and watch for the formation of bubble clusters. Small leaks produce a white foam that accumulates over ten minutes or more, making detection reliable and simple. Large leaks cause clusters of large bubbles to form immediately upon application.
